The Hifz course is dedicated towards the memorization of the entire Holy Qur’an leading to certification as “Hafiz al-Qur’an”. Students at Madressa Shoukatul Islam are prepared to become upright citizens who can:

1. Pursue advanced educational studies
2. Teach the art of Qur’anic memorization to children and adults
3. Lead the congregational Salah
4. Lead the Taraweeh prayers in Ramadan

The Hifz coursework can be completed simultaneously with school studies.

Abdullah ibn Umar Radiallahu anhu reports that

RasoolAllah Sallallahu alaihi wasallam said:

"On the day of judgement, it will be said to the man devoted to the Quraan, 'Go on reciting the Quraan and continue ascending the storeys of paradise and recite in the slow manner you had been reciting in the worldly life. Your final abode will be where you reach at the time you recite the last ayah"
